OzSBI’s Heather Fisher talks about plans to update building, website

West Plains, MO – Earlier this month, the Ozark Small Business Incubator, OzSBI, was announced to be receiving a U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Business Development Grant to help with repairs and renovations. Ozark Radio News spoke with OzSBI CEO Heather Fisher about those changes and how OzSBI helps support our community.

“USDA has been a huge part of the Incubator from our start back in 2010 and they recently awarded us a Rural Business Development grant of $32,000 and this is necessary for us just to provide some updates for our facility.” said Fisher.

OzSBI plans on updating their security cameras, keycard access points, and revamping their website, OzSBI.com. Updates to the second floor occurred in 2017, opening meeting rooms and performing technology updates.

The USDA provided $32,693 and OzSBI matched $11,000 of that grant for their planned updates.

OzSBI has 21 offices with 3 offices currently available for businesses. The facility has shared workspaces and 4 meeting rooms available for local and visiting businesses. OzSBI is located at 408 Washington Avenue in West Plains.
