Ronnie Dean Cooley, age 64, went home to be with Jesus on October 24, 2021, at Rock Point Nursing Center. Ronnie was born to Joseph Henry and Rosa Mae (Little) Cooley on May 20, 1957 in Mammoth Springs, AR.
Growing up he cherished spending time with his family. He dearly loved his momma and daddy. He adored his twin brother Donnie and had a special bond with him. Activities he enjoyed was singing in church, sitting in the cold water of the Eleven Point River, watching WWE Wrestling, riding amusement park rides, attending concerts, listening to country music and drinking a Coca-Cola. He was always ready to play a game and win. Ronnie was full of life and laughed often. He worked at the Oregon County Workshop.
Ronnie is survived by his twin brother Donnie (Glenda), Alton, MO, sister Mary (Charlie), Roseburg, OR and sister Clara Mae (Delbert), West Plains, MO He has a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother,Carl.
Ronnie’s family would like to sincerely express their appreciation and gratitude for the excellent care and love he received from everyone at Rock Point Nursing Center {Birch Tree Nursing Center), Birch Tree, MO. Ronnie will be sorely missed. He will be forever loved and remembered.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Clary Funeral home, Alton, MO.
