Three area teams are still alive in the state high school volleyball playoffs.
This evening kicks off the Missouri sectional round. In class 1, the Winona Lady Wildcats will be going for their 30th win of the season when they face the South Iron Panthers at Annapolis. South Iron eliminated the Lady Wildcats in the district championship last season.
In class 2, Liberty will host the Lady Pirates of Pleasant Hope. Both teams have won 24 matches this season.
In class 3, Forsyth will face Strafford at Strafford.
The winners will advance to the quarterfinal round Saturday.
