Harrison Lee McBride, the son of Ernest Martin McBride and Sally Gertrude (Sparks) McBride, was born May 6, 1938, at Noble, Arkansas. He passed away November 5, 2021, in Mountain View, Missouri, at the age of 83 years.
He was united in marriage to Retha Lucille Rose (Watts) McBride on September 12, 1961, at Kansas City, Missouri courthouse by a woman preacher. To this union three children were born, Tommy, Marry, and Tony.
Harrison was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Sally McBride; his son, Tommy Ray McBride; sister, Rosie Hughes; and five brothers, Marion McBride, Ernest McBride, Leon McBride, Richard Stanley, Glenn D. McBride, and Bill McBride.
He is survived by his wife, Retha McBride; one daughter, Marry Ann (McBride) Montague of Mountain View, MO; one son, Tony Lee McBride and wife, Terrie of Mountain View, MO; and a host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Harrison enjoyed spending time with his family, sitting outside and watching traffic, fishing, and eating at BBQs. He also loved going to church.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
