Pansy Pearl (Bowlin) Crisp was born on March 31, 1932, the daughter of Hayden Bowlin and Virginia (Mings) Bowlin. She departed this life on November 10, 2021, at 89 years 7 months and 10 days of age.
Pansy married Ival “Bud” Crisp on June 29, 1950, in Harrison, Arkansas. Four daughters were born to this union, Ilene, Erlene, Merlene and Kathy. They made their home near Manes, Missouri, until his passing.
Pansy was saved as a young mother and baptized in Beaver Creek at the same time as her daughters. She attended Evening Shade Church until she was no longer able. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and working on the farm. Pansy was also well known for her biscuits and pies.
Pansy was preceded in death by her husband, Ival, on March 8, 2014. Also preceding her in death were her parents and three daughters, Ilene, Erlene and Kathy.
Survivors include one daughter, Merlene Oxley and her husband, Jerry, three grandchildren, Heith Crisp whom she raised, Billy Ellis, and Dawn Broos and her husband, Andy, five great-grandchildren, Ty Crisp, Savannah Crisp, Megan Broos, Eli Broos, and Connor Broos, one uncle, Wallace Mings of South Carolina, a special niece and nephew, Sherry Hopkins and Royce Crisp and his wife, Betty, several other nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
