Francis “Frank” Lee Cox, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 while at his home. He was born February 25, 1948 in Olney, MD to Woodson Lane and Marie Thelma (Fogus) Cox and was 73 years old.
Frank grew up and attended the schools in Maryland. Because his dad had a job that required moving a lot, he lived in several different states. He met and fell in love with Barbara Jean Reeves and they were married October 30, 1979 in Georgia. He worked for Ron Wood as a HVAC service technician until his retirement. In his spare time Frank loved restoring old vehicles. He also loved fishing and working in the woods with his good friend and neighbor, Don Heathman. However, his passion was reading his Bible and telling people about the Lord. He loved the Lord, and he loved his family. He was a loving father and the best husband a woman could ever ask for. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed, but the family has the assurance that they will see him again and be with him forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Cox; his daughters, Rayna Jean Mello of Fayetteville, AR and Tracy Arlene Hasbrook and her husband, Jeremy of Tampa, FL; two brothers: Woodson Lane Cox, Jr. of West Plains and David Hillman Cox of Eminence; a sister, Shirley Emmajean Mosher of West Virginia; and four grandchildren: Gavin, Peyton, Whitney, and Atlas.
