Karen Sue Lane, 75 years, 2 months, and 20 days old, passed away on, December 6, 2021 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Karen was born September 17, 1946 in Ava, Missouri to Martin and Erma (Hale) Lane.
She loved watching football and cheering for her favorite team, the Bronco’s. She enjoyed crocheting, spending time outside, cooking tamales, and having coffee time with her brother Toby. She especially enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Ronnie Lee Gonzales and Danny Ray Gonzales; two brothers, Walter Lane and Joel Lane; and two grandchildren, Eli Gonzales and Curtis Gonzales.
Karen is survived by her children and their spouses, Rodney and Susan Gonzales, Randy and Diane Gonzales, Dale Gonzales, and Shelly and Jim Slagle; grandchildren, Brandi Gonzales, Travis Byers, Randy Gonzales, Crystal Gonzales, Ronnie Gonzales, Heather Schemel, Heaven Schemel, Dakota Schemel, Parker Gonzales, Klarissa Gonzales; great-grandchildren, Deztini Gonzales, Donivan Waters, Evante Herrada, Kasyn Waters, Lluvy Herrada, Mateo Herrada, and Zayden Campion; siblings, Lester Lane, Toby Lane, Sharon Brunson, Martin Lane, Jr.; nieces, Debbie Lane and Michelle Lane; great-nephews, Derek Lane and many other nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Karen will be Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard chapel, Ava, Missouri with burial to follow in the Fannon Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 A.M. to service time.
Officiating will be Joe Corum. Memorials may be made to the Fannon Cemetery.
