Linda Lou Miller

Linda Lou Miller, 71 years, 10 months, 26 days old, passed to Heaven on December 8, 2021 at her son’s home with all her family by her side.

Linda was born January 12, 1950 in Rock Island, IL to Kenneth Vaughn and Lena Ruth (Riley) Hendrix.

On August 27, 1966 Linda and Russell Burl Miller, Jr. were united in marriage at Ava, MO, and they were blessed with two children, Anita and Stacy.  She was retired from working as a Beef and Pork Farmer along side Burl. With family, she owned and operated Down Home Country Ceramics in Ava. She had previously worked at Emerson Electric and before that Baxter Lab in Mtn. Home, AR.  Linda, Burl and Stacy also ran the food wagon, Country Rose, in the Ava area. They were known for their catfish and pork tenderloin.

Linda was a Christian. She loved attending churches with her family. She loved doing crafts and traveling with her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Burl in 2014.

Linda is survived by her children and their spouses, Anita & Billy Holt and Stacy & Teresa Miller; 5 grandchildren, Samantha and Katrina Holt, Johnathon, Justin and Nathan Miller; 11 great grandchildren, Justus, Trenton, Daytona, Raylen, Chandler, Landon, Fisher, Raylon, Aryan, Johnathon and Zach; four brothers, Rick, Jeff , Kenny and Shawn Hendrix; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Linda will be Monday, December 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Dobbs Cemetery.  A visitation will be Sunday, December 12th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Hall.
