On January 4, 2022 at approximately 1:35 p.m., Deputy Nicholas Bruno with the Howell County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence on County Road 6690 in Howell County in reference to a weapons violation offense between family members.
Before deputies could arrive, the suspect had fled the scene by vehicle. Later that day, Deputy Bruno located the suspect and suspect vehicle leaving a residence off of State Route K. A traffic stop was conducted and the suspect, Brandon Evans, was taken into custody and was transported to the Howell County Jail.
Brandon Colt Laroy Evans, 29 of Bolivar, has been charged with Felony Armed Criminal Action, Felony Domestic Assault 1st degree, and Felony Unlawful use of weapon. Additional charges will be sought for the drug-related offenses when lab results return.
Bond for Evans has been set at $200,000 Cash or Corporate Surety.
