Yvette Cecilia Anderson, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was born February 8, 1947 to Frank Clearance and Cecilia Marie (Aubie) Duhring in Detroit, MI and was 74 years old.
Yvette grew up and attended the schools in Mountain View, CA. She graduated from Holy Cross High School at the top of her class in 1965. She married the love of her life, Phillip Anderson, on August 23, 1966 in Redwood City on his way to serve our country in Vietnam. While the couple was living in Casper, WY, Yvette attended college and received her RN. Yvette worked for Providence Hospital in Portland, OR from 1989 to 2004, thereafter she specialized in geriatrics working with older adults in long term care settings. Yvette was most passionate about her family as sister, daughter, wife and mother of the couples’ 9 children whom through her love of history and adapt storytelling leaves each member of her family with pearls of wisdom enveloped within the folds of humor and a little bit of fun. Yvette was an avid reader and with her passion for history, kept and bred traditional dog breeds which included several champions she showed in competition. She was an accomplished seamstress, who brought her talent in design to creating both wearables and custom piece for the home. It has been said she had a “eye” for design and fashion. She will be dearly missed by her family, her friends, and all who knew her.
