Mountain View, Mo. – On January 14th, the Mountain View Police Department was dispatched to 907 North Ash for at 0740 male subject breaking into apartment with resident and child inside, he did not gain entry, the dispatched officer saw two vehicles fleeing the scene and began pursuit, the pursuit lasted 25 minutes, one vehicle rolled over on Harlow road, driver one jumped out, and the second vehicle stopped picked him up.
They continued to Summersville east of 17 where they crashed again on highway WW and both drivers tried to escape in the woods on foot. When they came out, Texas County Sheriff’s Department apprehended the suspects. The second vehicle was stolen the night before in Texas county. Wayne Sechrest. The driver of vehicle one, Wayne Sechrest has been identified and charged. Charges are pending along with the release of the identity of the driver of vehicle two.
