Registration is underway for the 2022 Cardinals 5K, presented by Bally Sports Midwest. The 5K will take place both in-person and virtually, allowing Cardinals fans across the world the chance to run, jog or walk the race. All participants will receive an exclusive quarter-zip pullover and commemorative medallion that features a tribute to the late Cardinals and National Baseball Hall of Famer, Bob Gibson. Proceeds will benefit both the Cardinals Care Redbird Rookies Youth Softball and Baseball Program and Girls on the Run St. Louis. The in-person event is Saturday, April 16. Six-time Olympic medalist, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, will be on hand to officially start the race at 8:30 AM. The course will start on 8th Street near the Stan Musial Statue at Busch Stadium and continue through the streets of downtown St. Louis, finishing on Clark Avenue between Ballpark Village and Busch Stadium. The leading scorers for the Zizzers were Ethan Tuma who had 12 and Alex Judd who had 11. The Zizzer Freshman team improves to 10-3 on the year. The Zizzers next game in this tournament will be on Saturday, at 10:00 am in Waynesville’s middle school gym.
