Gainesville, Mo. – An elderly Theodosia woman was injured in a two vehicle crash Thursday morning in Ozark County. The crash occurred at 6:35 a.m. on Highway J, seven miles southeast of Gainesville on February 17, 2022.
A 2015 Jeep Cherokee driven by Patsy Cheek, 79, crossed the center of the roadway and struck a 2000 Chevy 1500 driven by a 16-year-old male from Gainesville. The teen was not injured in the crash. Cheek suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Ark. for treatment. Both drivers had been wearing seatbelts.
