JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – State Representative Bennie Cook and members of the Missouri House of Representatives that are former FFA members, take time to show their support for FFA.
“It is an honor to be former FFA member. FFA encourages our youth to develop leadership skills and it helps our youth gain agriculture knowledge.,” Cook said. “FFA has had such a positive impact on so many young people. I am proud that my children are also involved in FFA and understand the importance of agriculture. It is an honor to work with so many former members of the FFA, stated Cook.
The FFA organization was founded by a group of young farmers who met in Kansas City in 1928. Today, FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. FFA promotes citizenship, volunteerism, patriotism, and cooperation.
