Drury is tied for 9th in this week’s NCAA-II poll

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury Lady Panthers are tied for ninth in this week’s NCAA-II coaches’ poll. Drury received 363 points in the point and is even with Lander (19-3). The Lady Panthers are 25-4 and 15-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Glenville State (25-0) is the only undefeated team in Division II and is ranked number one. Grand Valley State (23-1) is ranked second, Union (21-2) is ranked third, and Texas A&M-Commerce (22-2) is number four this week.

One other GLVC team is in the poll with Missouri-St. Louis (20-3) ranked 25th.

This week’s poll marks the 132nd consecutive week the Lady Panthers have been ranked in the top 25, the longest streak in the nation. It is also their 70th straight week for Drury to be ranked in the top 10.

The Lady Panthers end the regular season this week with two home games. Drury will host Quincy on Thur., Feb. 24, and Illinois Springfield on Feb. 26 for Senior Day at the O’.
