For the first time since the 1984-85 season, the St. Louis Blues have seven players with at least 20 goals…
And there are still 13 games to go!
Brayden Schenn became the latest Blue to join the club in Monday’s 5-1 win against the Arizona Coyotes.
Schenn joined teammates David Perron, Ivan Barbashev, Vladimir Tarasenko, Jordan Kyrou, Brandon Saad and Pavel Buchnevich in the 20-goal club.
As of Tuesday, the Blues were the only team in the NHL to boast seven 20-goal scorers.
The Blues rank fourth overall in the NHL with 248 goals this season – their 3.59 goals-per-game average is the ninth-best in franchise history.
In the 1984-85 season, Joe Mullen, Brian Sutter, Bernie Federko, Jorgen Pettersson, Doug Wickenheiser, Greg Paslawski and Doug Gilmour each finished with at least 20 goals.
The team record for the most 20-goal scorers in one season is 10, which was set in the 1980-81 season.
