Tecumseh, MO. – The Tecumseh Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a Fish Fry Fundraiser this Saturday, April 16th. They will be serving chicken, catfish, fries, cornbread, soft-serve ice cream, and more.
This will all be happening at the Tecumseh Fire Department, and the event is by donation only.
The event is preceded by an Easter Egg Hunt at 4PM, and the Fish Fry begins at 5:30PM.
All proceeds go toward raising funds to buy the department a new brush truck, which is a smaller emergency response vehicle than the traditional full-sized fire engines, which can navigate scenes with more nimbleness and less weight.
Ozark Radio News spoke to Steve Taylor, both a fire fighter and a board member of the Tecumseh Volunteer Fire Department about this event.
