(Nashville)  It was a normal NHL late-season game between the Blues and the Predators Sunday until the second period.

In a 1-1 game, the Blues took over, scoring a team record 7 goals and blowing Nashville out of the water, winning 8-3. The win extends the Blues’ win streak to 9 games. The current streak is reminiscent of the 11 game streak the Blues put together in 2019 which eventually saw them win their first Stanley Cup.

Sunday’s win solidifies St. Louis standing in second place in the western conference behind Colorado who has already clinched first place.

The Blues will host Boston Tuesday as they try to run their win streak to double digits. The Blues dominated the Bruins last week at TG Garden in Boston.
