West Plains, MO – An educational workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 4 to 8:30 pm at the Howell County Extension Center. The workshop aims to provide information to manage rising production cost on livestock operations. Specific discussion topics include: heifer development, cow frame size, creep feeding, culling decisions, record keeping, soil fertility, weed control, and spring grass management. Presenters for the workshop will be MU Extension Specialist Elizabeth Picking, Kyle Whittaker, and Sarah Kenyon Ph.D.
Those interested can pre-register by April 25 at the Howell County MU Extension office. A meal will be provided.
