National Day of Prayer Celebration in Baxter County

Mountain Home, Ar. – In celebration and recognition of the National Day of Prayer, the UnlessWePray initiative will be holding a public prayer event on the plaza by the Baxter County Courthouse on May 5th, from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM.  Several local pastors will be leading prayers on the half hour. The event is free-flowing, allowing visitors to come and go as they wish.   A prayer guide focused on prayer needed for the nation will be provided.  For anyone desiring a snack, there will be free hot dogs and bottled water in the parking area west of the courthouse.

The mission of the UnlessWePray initiative is to encourage Christians to commit to regular, frequent and bold prayer for the nation, the community and local churches. This will be the fifth public prayer event at the Baxter courthouse in the last year.  The next UnlessWePray event will be May 21 at the Pioneers Day festival in Norfork.
