Missouri senators vote to return money to some state taxpayers.
House Bill 2090 now includes a tax credit of up to $500 for every Missourian earning less than $150,000 annually. Married couples filing jointly with a combined income of less than $300,000 could qualify for a $1,000 tax credit.
Missouri Senate President Pro Tem Dave Schatz of Sullivan says this is thanks to a Missouri Senate amendment to House Bill 2090:
House Bill 2090 still has to go back through the Missouri House of Representatives before this one-time refund could become reality.
