Lynn Michelle Schultz

Lynn Michelle Schultz, 63 years, 24 days old, passed away on, May 5, 2022 at her home in Basehor, Kansas.

Lynn was born April 12, 1959 in Springfield, Missouri to William and Aileen Schultz.

On August 27, 1980, Lynn and Jack Phillip Cook II were married in Miami County, Kansas. Together they had four children, Jack Cook III, Jerusha (Cook) Warholic, Jacob Cook, and Nathaniel Cook.

She  retired from UPS on April 29 after working there for 20 years.

Lynn really enjoyed fishing. She loved spending time with her family most of all.  Her dream job was being a mother.  She will forever be remembered for her heart of gold.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Aileen Schultz; grandparents, Henry and Anna Schultz, and Lloyd and Gladys Streight; and the love of her life, Jack Cook II, along with several other relatives.

Lynn is survived by her children, Jack Cook III, Jerusha and Chris Warholic, Jacob Cook, and Nathaniel Cook; grandchildren, Malia Warholic, Jack Cook IV, Leah Cook, Jayla and Georgia Wilson, Annabel O’Neill Cook, and Bodhi Warholic; her sister Thela Fitzgerald and Patrick; two nieces, Natalie and Rick Schluessler and Holly Fitzgerald; two great-nephews, Matthew Wilson and Haydon Schluessler; great-niece, Haylee Schluessler, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services for Lynn will be Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri.  Visitation will be Thursday 2:00 P.M. until service time.  Burial will be in the Fannon cemetery.  Officiating will be Pastor David Dye.  Memorials may be made to Virginia Wright Clinic.  Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, MO.
