‘Swinging for Impact’ With Adam Wainwright and Other St. Louis Cardinals During Charity Event at Topgolf in Chesterfield

ST. LOUIS – Ever dreamed of golfing with your favorite St. Louis Cardinals player?
Big League Impact founder Adam Wainwright and his Cardinals teammate Tommy Edman, with
support from 101 ESPN, invite fans to join them in “Swinging for Impact” at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 12 at
St. Louis’ Topgolf location (16851 N. Outer 40 Rd., Chesterfield, MO 63005).
Participants will enjoy an evening of camaraderie and competition alongside their favorite Cardinals
players. All proceeds from the event will benefit Big League Impact, a nonprofit Wainwright started in
2013 to help fight poverty through the platform of sports.
“Being able to get back to in-person events where we are able to really connect with each other and
with fans, it’s huge for our organization,” Wainwright says. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to have so many
of my teammates involved in this Topgolf outing. It means so much to have these guys see and
understand all that Big League Impact is working to achieve for people in need around the world, and
to have them be so excited to be a part of it. We’re all looking forward to a really great event!”
Tickets are $250 per person, or $400 per pair of golfers, and include complimentary food, beer and
wine. The winners will take home a three-month Topgolf Platinum Elite membership for six individuals.
Registration is open through noon C.T. on June 6; anyone who signs up by May 18 will be entered to
win a night out for two at Topgolf and a $100 gift card to Twisted Tree Steakhouse. For more
information and to sign up, visit www.bigleagueimpact.org/topgolf-stl.
