Houston, MO. – A Licking man was injured in a two-vehicle crash near Houston on Sunday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred around 5 p.m. four miles north of Houston on US 63.
A southbound 2012 Ford Fusion driven by Jessica York, 26 of Summersville, crossed over the centerline and struck a northbound 2019 Ford Edge driven by Steven McGuire, 55 of Licking, causing both vehicles to overturn.

Both drivers had been wearing safety devices and York was uninjured in the crash. McGuire suffered serious injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
