Newcomers Arrive On Campus

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri football welcomed student-athletes to campus and the program with the start of the summer session on Monday.

2022 Newcomers / By The Numbers:

• 37 total newcomers (20 offense, 16 defense, 1 specialist) (including those who enrolled in January)
• 15 from the state of Missouri
  • STL metro: Burden, Gracial, Machado, Schrader, Thompson, Wayne
  • KC metro: Marshall, Membou, Miller, Whisner
  • Springfield: Quadrini
  • Columbia: Norris, Peat
  • Boonville: Wesolak
  • Lebanon: Wilson

Valen Erickson, Carmycah Glass, Marquis Gracial, Sam Horn, Tavorus Jones, Jalen Marshall, Curtis Peagler, Isaac Thompson, Ja’Marion Wayne, Tristan Wilson and DJ Wesolak were announced as part of the 2022 signing class in December 2021 and February 2022.

The Tigers also welcome five transfers to the program ahead of the 2022 season: DJ Coleman, LJ Hewitt, Demariyon Houston, Josh Landry and My’Kai Lee.

Walk-ons joining the program include Jack Abraham, Brett Brown, Boyton Cheney, Anthony Favrow, Xavier Machado, Jack McGarry, Nate Norris and Nick Quadrini.
