Salem, MO. – A Salem, Missouri man was killed in a fatal two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck near Rolla on Wednesday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 9:19 p.m. on Highway 72, a half mile east of Rolla.
An eastbound 2003 Chevy Cavalier driven by Bradley Gilmore, 30 of Salem, crossed the center of the roadway and struck a westbound 2019 Western Star driven by Roger Ferguson, 52 of Salem.

Ferguson had been wearing a safety device and was not injured in the crash. Gilmore had not been wearing a safety device and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
