Mountain Home Man Arrested on Auto Theft and More

Mountain Home, AR. – On July 6th, an Arkansas State Trooper stopped an individual driving on US 62 in Mountain Home. The vehicle was stopped due to not having a license plate, but after initiating the stop, the Trooper had noticed that the ignition was removed and was hanging down, with a screwdriver laying in the floorboard.

The driver was identified as Jay Dockweiler, 30 of Mountain Home, and had a list of multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest. A check of the VIN had also shown that the vehicle had been stolen out of Baxter County.

The vehicle originally vanished as the original driver had to abandon the vehicle on Arkansas Highway 5 South due to a flat tire, and when she attempted to retrieve the vehicle, found it missing.
