West Plains, MO. – In 2014, Ozark Radio Network formed ORN Cares to help give back to our local communities. Each year a committee selects a local non-profit group and ORN Cares fundraises for that group and also host the Annual ORN Cares Golf Tournament. Since 2014 ORN Cares has raised over $200,000+ that has been placed back into our area.
This year, at the 6th Annual ORN Cares Golf Tournament, ORN Cares raised $17,544.17 for the Focus on Babies Diaper Resource Center.
“The donation will make it where we can purchase the size of diapers that we need for specific organizations that we provide diapers to.” says Kay Mead with the Diaper Resource Center. “Some of them will need larger sizes, like if it’s a foster family or maybe a child that has bedwetting issues. We can supply the kind of diapers that we need for the babies and the families out there ”
The Annual ORN Cares Golf Tournament is held on the last Friday in July and is the largest event for ORN Cares to raise money for local charities.
