West Plains, MO. – The Howell County Sheriff’s Department has made a big step forward in being able to provide for their officers in the form of issuing service pistols to deputies.
Previously, like many other counties in the area, Howell County Deputies have had to procure much of their own equipment, including a firearm. With this purchase, Brent Campbell has made a step toward his goal of “providing utility and a uniformed appearance within the Howell County Sheriff’s Office”.

The total amount of firearms issued numbers 43; 33 of which being Glock 17’s, and the remaining 10 being Glock 19’s.
