West Plains, MO. – A young man from West Plains has become seriously injured while riding as an occupant on County Road 8940.
Brandon Thick, 23 of West Plains was driving Eastbound, roughly 3 miles West of West Plains in his 2019 Polaris Ranger, when he crashed. According to the report from Trooper L.C. Pruiett of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as Thick drove his Polaris off the right side of the roadway, struck the ground, and overturned.
While Thick was uninjured in the crash, his one occupant was seriously injured. He was identified as Kameron Crewse, 20 of West Plains. Neither the occupant nor the driver were wearing their safety device.
Crewse was transported to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for recovery and treatment.
