The Royals ended a scoring drought of 33 innings when Michael Massey hit his first major league homer. That came in the 8th inning and that was the only run scored in the Royals 7-1 to the Rays. Brad Keller who was just moved out of the rotation and into the pen came in and gave up five runs in the seventh.
