West Plains, Mo. – A semi-truck on fire slowed traffic traveling north out of West Plains Thursday afternoon.
The vehicle caught fire sometime around 1:15 p.m. on the shoulder of the northbound lane of US 63 between County Roads 4740 and 4780 near Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.

Traffic was backed up over two miles while firefighters and troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol worked the scene. At this time, there is no reports of any injuries from the scene of the fire.
