Raymond Ervin Stemper, Jr.

Raymond Ervin Stemper, Jr., known to everyone as “Sonny”, passed away on September 4, 2022, at his home in Brandsville, Missouri, at the age of 71. He was born to Raymond Ervin, Sr. and Virginia Rose (Beanard) Stemper, on August 8, 1951, in Mountain View, Missouri.

Sonny started working in the timber industry around eight or nine years old. He then became an over-the-road truck driver for ten years. Sonny enjoyed gardening, fishing, shooting guns, and being outside with the wildlife.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Stemper; his parents, Raymond and Virginia Stemper; and his grandparents.

Sonny is survived by his companion of 22 years, Elevada Teney of Brandsville; two children, Joey Stemper and wife, Abbie of Versailles, MO, and Kitty Teney of Brandsville; three sisters, Mary Hoover and husband, Norman, of El Dorado, KS, Leona Thomas of Oklahoma, and Rose Mary Rosado of Fontana, CA; three granddaughters, one grandson; and four nieces and nephews.
