West Plains, MO. – A former Birch Tree resident currently living in Springfield was arrested last month following a traffic stop at the Norwood Dollar General.
Just before midnight on August 24, a traffic stop was made by a Wright County Sheriff deputy on a vehicle driven by Raymond Nazarian, age 38 of Springfield. During the stop, Nazarian granted consent to search his vehicle. During the search, multiple syringes and a glass pipe was located that tested positive for Methamphetamine.
Nazarian was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was on bond but was taken back into custody September 12 after violating bond conditions by testing positive for meth and MDMA. Nazarian has been on parole from previous convictions and is attending drug counseling.
