Ella Clara Mueller, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, while at Mountain View Healthcare in Mtn. View, MO. She was born January 26, 1938, in St. Louis, MO to George Mueller and Ella Clara (Betz) Mueller, and was 84 years old.
Ella grew up in St. Louis and attended Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School through eighth grade. After graduating from high school, she was employed at Chrysler in the paint and trim department; she also worked at Anheuser Busch in the cafeteria. Over the years, she worked at Dairy Queen as well as cleaning houses. When she wasn’t working, Ella loved to read and work word puzzles. In her younger years, she truly enjoyed going on float trips. She was known for her cooking abilities which she was happy to share with the local priests and their parishes. It was also said she had a special fondness for cats and dogs. She will be dearly missed by her family, her friends, and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands: Terry Cole, Charles Barcom, and Harry Hegger; two brothers, George Mueller and Joseph Mueller; and her daughter, Debra O’Donald.
She is survived by her sons, Harry Hegger and Cathy Shaw of St. James, MO, and Michael Barcom and his wife, Christina of Willow Springs; and her grandchildren: Teia and Brennan Barcom, Austin Nash, and Scott, Andy, and Adam Hegger.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Mtn. View with a memorial service immediately following at 11:00 A.M. with Father Joseph Stoverink officiating. Inurnment will follow at the St. John Vianney Cemetery.
