Ronald Keith Knepper son of the late Harold Keith Knepper and Mary Margaret Carter (Corbin) passed away on September 8, 2022 peacefully at his home in South Fork, Missouri. Ronald was born January 7, 1949, in Maryville, Missouri and was 73 years old at the time of his passing.
He is survived by his significant other Sandy Allen, who remained by his side during his extended illness. Ronald is survived by the following family members, Sister Ramona Knepper of West Plains, Missouri, Sister Joanna Forbuss of Fenton, Missouri, Daughter Sabra Knepper of Florida, Grandson Bragan Kelly of Kansas City, Missouri, and Grandson Kieran Knepper of Florida. The family would also like to give it’s sincerest thanks to Olan Lunn, Ronald’s neighbor for his help and support during his illness. Ronald considered Olan a family member. Ronald is proceeded in death by his parents and two siblings Brother Kim Knepper and Sister Wavanna Knepper.
Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Airforce from 1968-1974 as an aircraft mechanic. Ronald was a veteran of the Vietnam war and obtained the rank of Sergeant. Ronald was employed at Marathon/Regal in West Plains for 35 years and retired from there. Ronald also worked with his father sharpening saw blades for local mills and later, after his father’s passing, ran his own sharpening business.
Ronald enjoyed Hunting, fishing, Photography and working with his horses, dogs, and cattle. Ronald was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all that knew him.
Graveside service for Ronald Keith Knepper will be September 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Amy Cemetery in Caulfield, Missouri. Under the directions of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in West Plains, Missouri.
