West Plains, MO. – A motorcyclist from West Plains was seriously injured as a result of a collision with a 2018 Toyota CHR on Tuesday afternoon.
The motorcyclist, identified as Leland Collins, 49 of West Plains, was riding a 2005 Yamaha V-Star 650, and was traveling Southbound, the same direction as the CHR. The CHR was being driven by Anne Davies, 60 of Elk Creek.

The crash occurred as Davies failed to yield to Collins, causing the Yamaha to collide with the CHR. Collins was transported with serious injuries to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
This accident was investigated by Trooper T.M. Broyles of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
