Blues 4, Wild 2

The St. Louis Blues handed the Minnesota Wild their first defeat of the preseason during a 4-2 victory at Enterprise Center. Pavel Buchnevich and Jake Neighbours each scored in the first period, and the Blues led the rest of the way. Nathan Walker and Klim Kostin also lit the lamp in the victory. St. Louis is now 5-1-and-0 in exhibition play. The Blues visit Columbus tomorrow night.

The St. Louis Blues are getting some bad news about one of their top young defensemen. The team announced yesterday that blue-liner Scott Perunovich will have surgery on his left shoulder and miss at least six months. The 24-year-old suffered the injury during the Blues preseason game against Chicago on September 27th. The 24-year-old missed most of last season with a left wrist injury, and he had six assists in 19 games.
