Thayer, MO. – Another traffic accident has claimed the life of someone from Doniphan; this crash happening just 4 miles East of Thayer at roughly 1:30 this morning.
Robert Widding, 24 of Doniphan was driving a 2007 Chevy Malibu Eastbound on Highway 142 in early morning hours. He then ran off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and several trees, and was ejected from the vehicle. Widding was not wearing his safety device.

Widding suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at 3am by Oregon County Deputy Coroner, Robert Clark.
This accident was investigated by Corporal C.A. Kimes of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
