On Thursday night three area teams competed to move one step closer to a state championship. The Liberty Eagles faced Strafford and their season came to an end as they fell to the Indians 3-0, in class 3 The Mountain Grove Panthers also saw their season come to an end as the lose to Seneca 3-0. The lone area team to move on is the Winona Wildcats as they got a 3-0 win over School of the Ozarks they will face Lesterville on Saturday.
