Three-Vehicle Accident Injures Three

Licking, MO. – A three vehicle-accident that began with a lost truck load has ended with three being injured on October 30th.

This accident begins with all three vehicles travelling Northbound on Highway 119, a few miles South of Highway 32, East of Licking.

A 2004 Dodge 2500 was leading the group with a 16 year-old driver from Licking. The next vehicle was a 2019 Dodge Journey driven by Deszeray Warren, 18 of Licking. The last was a 2014 Ford Explorer, driven by Marsha Osborne, 36 of Licking.

The 2004 Dodge lost part of its load, causing the Dodge Journey to strike the object in the road. The Ford Explorer then struck the Journey from behind.

Three people in the Journey were injured, passengers Kaleb Mashek, 19 of Ellington, Kendra Sullins, 20 of Ellington, and Andrew Newdeck, 22 of Ellington. All sustained minor injuries and were transported to Salem Memorial District Hospital and Texas County Memorial Hospital.

This accident was investigated by Trooper J.S. Leathers of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop I.
