Hot Country KDY and 96.9 The Fox join Silver Dollar City to kick off An Old Time Christmas this Saturday

West Plains, MO. – The brightly lit lights of Silver Dollar City’s “An Old Time Christmas” will start to shine this Saturday, November 5, and Hot Country KDY and 96.9 The Fox will be there to help welcome the holiday season. This season marks the debut of a new production show, Coming Home for Christmas, and the return of over 6.5 million lights, a light parade, and much more holiday fun. Silver Dollar City brings so much sparkling illumination to the holidays that the park boasts the five-time reigning champion for Best Theme Park Holiday Event in America according to USA Today.

KDY and The Fox will be at Silver Dollar City this Saturday, November 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to share the Christmas cheer.

Silver Dollar City’s Coming Home For Christmas

Visitors will have be presented with the park centerpiece, Joy On Town Square, an 8-story Christmas tree, full of beautiful twinkling lights. Even brighter is Christmas in Midtown with light tunnels, wreath portals, and special effects. Rollercoaster riders will get a beautiful view of all the Christmas lights below while under a dome of Ozark Mountain stars. Don’t miss out on the many craftsmen of Silver Dollar City as they ply their trades in glass-blowing, wood carving, and pottery.

The City’s stages will offer more than 30 shows each day, including A Dickens’ Christmas Carol, the new Coming Home for Christmas, The Living Nativity and many others all in view of over 6 million lights.
