West Plains, Mo. – A two vehicle accident in West Plains Friday afternoon has injured at least one person. The crash occurred at 12:14 p.m. at the intersection of St. Louis Street and Jackie D. Garrett Drive.
A southbound Chevy pickup with a female driver was headed north and was struck by a westbound Ford SUV, causing the truck to spin to facing north. The Ford ran off the roadway and came to a stop after striking the curb of the turning lane on the north side of Jackie Garrett Drive.

The crash caused the rear glass of the Chevy to shatter, causing cuts to the driver. The driver of the Chevy was taken to receive medical treatment. The extent or existence of injuries to those in the Ford are currently unknown.
