Springfield, MO. – A man from Marshfield has been arrested and charged after shooting at another vehicle in what can only be described as a road-rage event.
This event took place as a couple were driving below the speed limit and were then tailgated by the driver of a silver Chevy truck. The couple pulled into the left lane to allow them to pass, but words and gestures were exchanged as this happened, including the husband flipping off the driver of the Chevy and throwing a soda can.
The driver of the Chevy then brandished a handgun and fired a bullet, injuring the husband as it traveled through the window, his leg, and resting in the center console.
Tanner Fienen, 26 of Marshfield was met with law enforcement authorities at his job on December 8th, where he was interviewed and investigated for his involvement.
A 9mm was found in a compartment of his vehicle, and Fienen admitted to the argument, but not to firing a gun.
Fienen has been charged with Armed Criminal Action x2, 1st Degree Assault, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
