Kristine Marie Reese

Kristine (Loew) Reese, of Birch Tree, Missouri, a loving wife, mother, and granny, took her seat in heaven surrounded by the love of her family on November 26, 2022, at the age of 54.

Kristine was born on April 27, 1968, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, to Barbara and Gerald (Jerry) Loew. She spent her early childhood in Wisconsin before moving to Missouri with her family in the third grade. Kristine met her husband, Carl “Hugo” Reese, when she was 17 years old. The two of them wed six years later on January 31, 1991. She was very proud of the family the two of them built together. She beamed with pride when talking about her three daughters and was the absolute best granny to her six grandchildren.

Kristine enjoyed a wide variety of different hobbies, including crocheting and painting. She used her creative brain and huge heart to build a successful career as the activity director at Mountain View Healthcare for many years. She loved every resident she came in contact with, and they loved her right back. Co-workers have said she will go down in history as the best activity director in the world. Kristine also enjoyed spending time with her family at the Jacks Fork River. She never failed to have a smile on her face, and fun followed her around wherever she would go. The love Kristine gave was returned to her by anyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Gerald Loew; father-in-law, Joe Reese; and mother-in-law, Lois “Louise” Reese.

Kristine is survived by her husband, Carl “Hugo” Reese of Birch Tree, MO; three daughters, Tabitha (Daniel) Caplinger, Kymberly (William) Haynes, and Sheila Tiger all of Mountain View, MO; six grandchildren, Mathew, Aubrea, Alaina, Carson, Tucker, and Bristol all of Mountain View, MO; two sisters, Jacquelyn (Gary) Pulliam of Mountain Home, AR, and Erika Williams of Mountain View, MO; two sisters-in-law, Anita Lute of Ottawa KS, and Laneta (Alan) Loera of Houston, TX; one brother-in-law, John (Norma) Reese of Pomona, MO; and as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved very much.
