Missouri Governor Mike Parson has activated the Missouri National Guard in order to assist with state response to the winter storm moving through the Ozarks today.
This is partially due to MoDOT making announcements of being short workers for the winter season. Officials are asking individuals to stay off the roadways in order to prevent any further issues.

The National Guard will be assisting the Missouri State Highway Patrol by responding to drivers that have become stranded, and helping MoDOT by clearing roadways.
