MO Department of Economic Development Requesting Help from Public on Internet Access Map

Locals within our listening area may be able to help in the process of providing access to high-speed internet, by providing information to the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

The information being requested is whether or not an individual has access to high-speed internet. This information is being used to identify areas that are lacking so that the FCC’s map can be accurate, and provide Missouri with the full funding it should receive through the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment Program (BEAD). This program roughly $42 billion in funding intended to expand access to high-speed internet for Americans.
