Lebanon couple arrested for meth in Wright County

West Plains, MO. – A couple from Lebanon have been arrested for possession of methamphetamine in Wright County.

On January 8, 2023 at roughly 9:20 p.m., a Wright County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Hwy U in Mansfield. Contact was made with the driver and passenger and consent to search was given. During the search a baggie containing suspected methamphetamine was located.

The driver, Shawn Paul, age 51 of Lebanon, and the passenger, Racheal Carpenter, age 46 of Lebanon, were both arrested and transported to the Wright County Jail. The pair are charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class D felony.

All suspects should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
