West Plains, MO. – The West Plains Zizzers took on the Branson Pirates to see who would take 7th place at the Bolivar Tournament on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
The game began with an early lead for the Pirates but, by the end of the first quarter, the Zizzers took the lead and fought hard to keep it with a score of 19 to 18. By halftime, West Plains managed to grow their lead to four points, 36 to 32, over Branson.
The second half of the game had the Zizzers playing with renewed vigor. West Plains outscored Branson in the third quarter by 7 points, 65 to 43. The Zizzers would only grow their lead in the fourth, clinching victory with a score of 88 to 60.
The West Plains Zizzers defeat the Branson Pirates, 88 to 60 and secure 7th place at the 2023 Bolivar Tournament.
