Samantha Lanel Borgman was born September 29, 1992, in West Plains, Missouri to Steven W. and Kammy L. (Ledgerwood) Borgman. She departed this life on January 28, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri.
Samantha is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, one aunt, and one cousin.
Survivors include her parents, Steve (Racheal) Borgman and Kammy (Todd Mitchell); brothers, Kevin (John D Henry)Borgman and Logan (Lacey Taylor); grandparents, Steve and Marsha Borgman and Larry and Kaye Ledgerwood; nieces and nephews, Lydia Henry, Bryce Borgman, Layna Borgman, Clint Brewer and Kayedance Brewer.
Samantha was the baby of the family and so she was treated that way. She was loved by so many, a tough spirited, sassy individual and a fighter. She loved her family so much. She liked to go to church with her friends. She loved to watch Wheel of Fortune and didn’t like it if you guessed the puzzle before her. She liked to listen to country music. Once a person got to know her, you couldn’t believe what an amazing person she was. She loved her brothers, her nieces and nephews and all of her many cousins, aunts and uncles The world will be a little dimmer without her. Heaven will be brighter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Mountain View, Missouri. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. also at Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Mountain View.
